Yesterday was officially the first day of Fall. Here on the Coast that means brighter days filled with sunshine and cool crisp mornings! I love Fall here, anywhere really. The colors, the different cast the sun has, the smell of wood smoke in the air on those crisp mornings.
Walking on the Old Haul Road during these gorgeous sunny days is incredible. Glittering ocean, suttle winds, and all the dogs frolicking on the beach. It's days like these that I wish would last longer than they do.
Apple orchards are full of yummy apples ripe for the picking. The dogs love to go picking with me because I always drop some and they are later found snacking away on their treasures! Blackberries and huckleberries are still out there too!
During the evenings we take time on the deck and read with a glass of wine....the cats and dogs just lounge around at my feet ...tired from the game of fetch we just finished.
